The Inner Channel is a small independent business. Each reservation is meaningful, and retreats require advance planning, coordination, and non-recoverable commitments. We kindly ask you to read these Terms & Conditions carefully before confirming your participation. By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Reservation & Deposit

To secure your place at a The Inner Channel retreat, a non-refundable deposit is required. Your reservation is confirmed only once the deposit has been received. We are unable to hold places without payment. The deposit forms part of the total retreat fee and will be deducted from the final amount. While the deposit is non-refundable, it may be transferable to another participant, subject to prior written agreement.

Remaining Payment

The remaining balance must be paid no later than six (6) weeks before the retreat start date, unless stated otherwise. One reminder will be sent as a courtesy. If the remaining balance is not received by the deadline, we reserve the right to release the reserved spot, and the deposit will be forfeited.

Changes & Cancellations

More than six (6) weeks before the retreat: you may request to transfer your participation to another The Inner Channel retreat within the same calendar year, subject to availability. If you choose to cancel, the deposit remains non-refundable, but any additional payments made will be refunded.

Within six (6) weeks of the retreat start date: changes or refunds are no longer possible. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person, provided we are informed in advance and approve the replacement.

Participation & Group Experience

The retreat is designed as a group experience, not as a private one-on-one service. While care is taken to support each participant, activities are offered within a shared group dynamic. Programs are designed to meet a variety of needs and cannot be fully customized for individuals. Participants are invited to approach the retreat with openness, emotional responsibility, and respect for themselves and others. Wellbeing practices are diverse, and experiences may differ from person to person.

All participants agree to respect the confidentiality of the group space. Personal stories, experiences, emotions, or identifying information shared by other participants during the retreat must not be disclosed, discussed, or shared outside the retreat setting, including on social media or with third parties.

Health, Safety & Insurance

Participation in all retreat activities is at your own responsibility. You are expected to assess your own physical, emotional, and mental readiness for movement practices, workshops, and nature activities.

We strongly recommend:

• Travel insurance covering cancellations and delays

• Health insurance, including international coverage where applicable

If you have any physical or mental health conditions, or are under medical treatment, you must inform us in advance so we can assess together whether participation is appropriate and safe. Please note that facilitators are not licensed medical doctors or psychologists, and retreat activities are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.

By attending, participants expressly release and hold harmless The Inner Channel, its facilitators, collaborators, and venue partners from liability for injury, illness, emotional distress, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, in accordance with applicable EU law.

Refund Policy & Exceptional Circumstances

The deposit is non-refundable due to advance operational costs and non-recoverable expenses. This applies regardless of personal circumstances, including illness, family or work emergencies, weather conditions, or changes of plans. If travel disruptions occur (such as strikes, delays, or cancellations), retreat fees remain non-refundable. Late arrival or early departure does not entitle participants to partial refunds.

Phone Use, Content & Privacy

The retreat is intended as a space for presence and personal experience, not for professional promotion or commercial content creation.

• Professional photography or filming equipment is not permitted

• Phones are not allowed during practices and group sessions

• Photography of other participants requires their explicit consent

The Inner Channel may document parts of the retreat (photography or video) for internal or future communication purposes. No identifiable images or recordings of participants will be used without prior explicit consent. Participants may opt out of any media capture at any time. All media processing complies with GDPR regulations.

If We Need to Cancel

In the unlikely event that The Inner Channel must cancel a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments received will be fully refunded. We cannot be held responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, such as flights, accommodation, or loss of income. We recommend avoiding non-refundable travel bookings until the final confirmation stage or ensuring appropriate travel insurance coverage.

In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, venue unavailability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, The Inner Channel reserves the right to reschedule the retreat or offer alternative dates or credits, subject to recoverable costs.

Our Rights

The Inner Channel reserves the right to:

• Remove a participant whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe, without refund

• Hold participants responsible for damages to property or the natural environment

• Make reasonable changes to the program, facilitators, or schedule if necessary

Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

Personal data is collected solely for the purpose of retreat organization, communication, and legal compliance. All data is handled in accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards and will never be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law. Participation in The Inner Channel retreats is limited to individuals aged 18 years or older, who have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the country in which the retreat takes place. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
